To qualify, each participant must fully complete the
online registration form on globalpetfoods.ca to enter to win. Chances
of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received.
All entries become the property of Global Pet Foods and Franchise Bancorp.
The contest is open only to residents of Canada who have reached the
age of majority in their province and are not employees of Global Pet Foods, Franchise Bancorp,
or any of its advertising or promotion
agencies. A limit of one entry per person or household. No purchase
necessary.
Prize: Individuals who enter are eligible to win one
grand prize of:
free pet food from Hill’s® Science Diet® for one year valued at
$750.00. Pet food must be Hill's Science Diet brand carried by Global Pet Foods
and will picked up by the winner at their
local Global Pet Foods store; one of ten secondary
prizes of a pampered pet basket. By entering the contest, entrants agree to abide
by the contest rules and the decisions of Global Pet Foods
in all matters pertaining to the contest. Prize must be
accepted as awarded and may not be converted into cash or an
alternative prize.

Participation deadline for the contest is February 21,
2010 at 11:59pm (Eastern time). [The “Closing
Date”]. All entries must be received prior to the Closing
Date to be eligible. On or around March 15, 2010 a winner will be randomly
chosen from the top 10 voted entries. The winner will be chosen at
Global Pet Foods; Franchise Bancorp corporate office at 294 Walker Dr.
Unit # 2, Brampton, ON. The selected entrant, in order to win the
prize, must first have correctly and unaided answered a time-limited
mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by telephone. If
for any reason Global Pet Foods is unable to contact
the selected entrant regarding the contest prize before March 29, 2010,
Global Pet Foods will have the right to disqualify the
first selected entrant and select an alternative winner.
Global Pet Foods and Hill's® Science Diet® are the sole sponsors of this contest.
This contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and
Municipal laws
applicable to a contest conducted in Canada. By accepting the prize,
the winner shall be deemed to consent to the use of his/her name and/or
photo likeness by Global Pet Foods and Hill's® Pet Nutrition in any subsequent
publicity related to this contest without further remuneration and will
sign a release to that effect.
